A virtual Mastercard can be used for online purchases only. You can use a virtual prepaid Mastercard in any online store that accepts the Mastercard as a payment method.

If you have ordered a physical prepaid Mastercard, it can be used both in stores on location or online stores that accept prepaid Mastercards. Some stores might not take prepaid cards. It’s a good idea to ask the store directly if they accept prepaid cards before you try to use one. Checking beforehand can save you some trouble at the checkout.
